I really need to do this too! A couple of times when it's been cold, i've had to put the heater on it to get it to start, looks like the electrics are on their last legs! It's 17 years old, no idea what to go with next, i'm hoping it will hold out a while longer yet - could do without that expense!

On the plus side, with all the black Friday deals now is prolly the best time to be looking.

Does it have a washlet attachment? I'm just back from Tokyo and my nipsie has never been so clean thanks to the bidet attachments that every loo (private and public) has. Seriously considering getting one.

You rock n'roller, you!
I always find that setting benchmarks and rewards helps for jobs like this ( - "When I've finished this wall I will reward myself with a cup to tea and a fag. When I've done half the room I can have lunch. When I've done the whole room then I can sit in the garden in a deckchair with a nice cold beer, knotted hankie on my head, cricket on the wireless, with the satisfaction of a job well done."

That reminds me. I stripped the wallpaper on our stairs last week; I need to finish filling the holes in the plaster that resulted...

I agree with EvilBastard's idea; chunking it up and rewarding yourself for finishing each chunk is a great way to proceed.

I'm trying to chunk it up but when you get on a roll with whole strips coming off in almost one piece, it gets a bit addictive.

Stopped for the day & enjoying a cold one on the balcony now

First time I looked at that pik I'd thought you'd built a seriously high-end foosball table!

Kudos indeed! There's a lot of satisfaction to sitting back, looking at the completed project and thinking "Yep, I did that - with these, my own two hands. Not bad, right - seems I'm not just a pretty face." :notworthy:
