Re-re-run of currently watching

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Got a firm "No" from me.

Fine, make up your own vampire story, but if you're calling it "Dracula" then I would prefer they kept more of the source material than a few names. By the reveal that the Nun was Van Helsing I was screaming at the screen.

OK there were a few nice nods to various cinematic Draculas ("I don't drink... vine" and the Christopher Lee red eyes stood out) but after a while it started to feel they just had a checklist of references to shoehorn in.

I didn't bother with episodes 2 (although I did hear about the "twist" FFS) or 3.

just watched Rise of Skywalker and absolutely loved it! yes there is a huge amount of 'fridge logic' but the action is thick and fast and Rey steals it. of course there will be criticisms but none from here on Whizzworld. phew!

During x-mass break I saw most part of "Batwoman" series. Even though it looks like they have more than $10 per episode, acting, and everything looks like from cheap Turkish soap operas played in Polish TV currently. This was one of the worst series I've ever seen.

That one intrigued me but I wasn't sure. I'll line that up for after I've finished Alias Grace now

i have to add to my earlier post and say that i'm halfway into the first season and this is some full-on, dark and nasty s**t. a dystopianist's dystopia but built on a framework of situations that we ourselves are potentially just a fngertip away from. gripping as f**k. :notworthy:

The source novel by Margaret Atwood is definitely worth reading if you haven't already.
