EUROPE 2009 !

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

So the AB has on this moment the opening of the European gigs.
This must be a special one !
Good things never come alone

And for the record.
My verry good friend Wouter has bought for me my concert ticket for the gig in Paradiso.
It is my birthday present.

Thank you Wouter ! :notworthy:

And thanks to The Sisters for this great birthday present. :)

If you book through ticketservice.nl (Paradiso): the search doesn't take THE sisters of mercy... So better misspell it.

Well, that seems most logical and would fit perfect in time...although a bit strange to celebrate a 28th birthday this big.

Grrr... I don't have a credit card. Would anyone help me with the order? Of course I'd send the money via paypal (prefered) or IBAN/BIC bank transfer in advance.

I'm not comfortable going that far. I speak no languages whatsoever and would have to go alone also. I will just have to wait for UK dates if there are any :(

Amsterdam is much more accessible than Paris. You won't even know your in another country, everybody speaks english and even most of the public notices are also in english. Flights are also cheap - Easy Jet. Paris I think would be much more daunting

Seconded! You'll be fine there. Lots of HL-ers will be there as well. 8)

Amsterdam is the city in this world with more nationalities living there than anywhere else in this world.

BTW: Antwerp is number 2 and New York City number 3.

I never knew  Antwerp being number two is a factoid I'll never forget now ;D

But yes, Holland and Belgium would be more comfortable for English-only-speakers, I guess...
Styles are a lie.
