My Sisters wardrobe

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Loving that "postcards from above the chemist" shirt

If you mind me asking: how many do you have now?

Counting the Hoodies and longsleeves, somewhere between seventy and eighty I reckon. Haven't had a new addition for awhile sadly.

Apologies everyone, it's been awhile since the last update and with little to show for your patience.
Picked this up recently, No time to cry.
Whilst certainly from the 80's I have no idea whether it is genuine or a boot.

I think it's a boot.
I have almost all the two colour singles cover prints now.
You can pick them up here.

& they aren't bad quality wise either. I've had mine for a good few years now & they're still in one piece :D
Cheers.

Yup. Had the Body Electric red print bootleg shirt, lasted a decade until the print began to crackle.

Heavy fabric, too, very good material for a decent moshpit or two ;)

Yeah, but I would avoid the Anaconda one. The print has a pinkish hue rather than silver grey. It's not awful, but once you notice it, it can be annoying.
Cheers.

I think my fave is the Reptile House one.
Worth ordering more than one really. The postage difference will be minimal :)
Cheers.

I have the original official release one already. I suppose I could be tempted by a FALAA one.

Apologies for the lack of updates in the last two years. A variety of reasons but the main ones being that less shirts are available to collect and the dramatic increase in prices on eBay. Shirts which I purchased online for twenty odd pounds are going for between sixty and ninety pounds. Recently I was informed by my employer that I will be losing my job in June and I have to say that serious consideration is being given to breaking the collection up.
Until then...

2105 and 2016 tour shirts, identical front prints.

Damn, that's bad news fella. Sending you good job-vibes.

Hard stuff, ribbons69 ... ...
the only good thing is that you know it already now, so there's some time window to find another job ...
and I wish for you that this won't present much of a problem to you and that your next job is better than the one you've got now.
You deserve it!!! And you should by no means be forced to give up your wonderful collection. All my best wishes from here to you!!!
Prices are indeed incredible. Some sellers demand several hundred quid for an old shirt ... just ridiculous.

And thank you for the new pictures ... :D :notworthy: ... the grey Replicant one is especially cool.

Btw, first of your shirts are integrated here and here (both scroll), more to follow asap ... :D ...
