2 tickets purchased from SEE tickets I really do need my bumps feeling - If everyone boycotted booking agencies for a couple of weeks booking fees would soon reduce.

Don't worry, I read too many threads on HL. Not all of them or else I wouldn't be confused. Nah Ness, not getting this 'fan' stuff all wrong... you once told me you don't like getting too close, others that get close to the man go all girly and can't act properly, I say give me a few hours and I'll have an exclusive interview for HL for you all!  in my dreams

Dear Mr Crash

You sir are an absolute star. Tickets arrived today. Can I please add how refreshing it was to pay only 50p handling mularky rather than the outlandish charges Seetickets and Ticketweb seem to think is fair.

Eternally grateful from Lincoln

p.s. If you are there on either/both nights please wear one of those advertising sandwich boards saying 'I'm Mr Crash' and I will buy you a rather lovely drinkypoo - as will several others from here I should think.
Same here. Ordered my ticket late Wednesday afternoon and it arrived first thing Thursday and that was with the standard 50p postage :notworthy:

I haven't looked through the whole thread so this might have been covered already but: the price seems to have gone up quite a bit from two years ago (I didn't make this year). Does that mean we'll actually be able to hear the vocals and we'll get a new set list? In other words, are we getting something better for the money considering the debatable quality of what we've been getting for the last few decades?

My punishment for moaning about this last night was to be woken by the postman at half seven this morning, knocking at my door with my tickets!

I like the bit that says Sisters XXX presents......
a nice reference to the anniversary, unless the "filmic delights" promised are something else altogether

Bloody hell! Postmen still come at 7.30? Haven't done that for years around here. Never before 11! Remember when there used t be two deliveries per day!

Mine as well :D

It almost looks like the Sisters themselves are the organizers, "Sisters XXX present"?

Crash Records, very fast delivery btw., no complaints whatsoever!

just a guess though.
this claire:

http://www.ghostdance.co.uk/forum/viewt ... =5534#5534

a post in which that nice mr marx sheds a bit more light over her involvement in all things sistersy... (and ghosty)

note: she was more than "just" von's girlfriend ;)

on the DJing note, she was a regular dj at the warehouse, which was THE definitive alt club in leeds before the phono got underway. she also DJ'd at the phono for a while.

(ever seen that famous footage in which richard madley interviews a very young marc almond about the "new romantic" scene? that footage was in the warehouse - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_pe7CDvp5M )

claire also recently DJ'd at a goth night at the cockpit in leeds, called "return to the batcave"

given this recent return to DJing, and the old-boys-network that is leeds' alt 80s scene, and the fact that the whole thing is a sisters anniversary, it's my guess that claire will be djing @ the leeds shindig.

also note: it's pure speculation on my part.
