jherek wrote:just made it back to tent; fab gig, enthuiastic crowd & proper LOUD! great version of romeo down, gift that shines, neverland, a rock and a hard place, logic all in setlist. during crash & burn i thought, this is why i do this.
Nice to see gift that shines back to the setlist, awesome to see A rock and a hard place stills there with logic.
But i have to admit, i'm missing Giving Ground, floorshoe, Top nite out, No time to cry, Kiss the carpet and maybe Marian.
(but i'm pretty sure that i'm not missing John, I'm only dancing
)
Thanks for this Review man!

I disagree!
It was (as usual in Belgium) a stonking gig! A Rock And A Hard Place was excellent, Romeo Down and Neverland were brilliant too. The crowd was in a good mood, with lots of fimiliar faces in the front rows
They played both VT and TOL as finals. Arms and Gift That Shines were also played. The weather was great, lots of youngsters in the audience, the volume was good this time.
WAHOO!!!

I feel exactly the same way about the gig. I even had the feeling they were playing everything a bit slower than usual...
For me the best parts of the show were Logic/Rock and a Hard Place and then the magic duo of Romeo Down/Never Land with the real bass, hmmm I still get a very warm feeling thinking about it now
The encore with Something Fast/More was pretty sharp too.
Actually a great frakkin' gig!
Fun to see/speak everyone too before & after ze gig. See you in Dublin!

Excellent gig. Romeo Down/Neverland was damn fine. It was a pleasure to see all those familliar faces again.

Hi!
I enjoyed the gig. But I missed Good Thing, Giving Ground, Marian...I agree we are spoiled. Sound was great.
The fact Andrew went on the festival park before gigs were starting was something weird.

no no no dear person, it's called something weird & wonderful!
the gods felt my vibes and we had sun and heat on friday & now...
...the fact that our fearless leader actually did get his body onto the festival ground & that four of us heartlanders had him come over & have a drink with us and a fantastic very humourous conversation for i guess around the half hour mark! *i kid you not* was the highlight of our friday sundowners! oh and of course the gig was rough and roaring, i couldn't hear
over all the public singing the lyrics with him!
i'll post my review after i get some more sleep!

If I knew how to make new emoticons I would embed one with a very silly smiling face, floating blissfully on a pink cloud number nine surrounded by little butterflies with little hearts on their wings. And fireworks in the background, and more little hearts sparkling here and there all around.

Of course not, how could I kid about fireworks or hearts, let alone butterflies.
