Bought the new All Them Witches album Nothing As The Ideal last week and it’s been on a constant spin
ATW are absolutely mega, modern old blues rock with a sprinkling of grunge and a Wurlitzer

6music now playing Motörhead Ace Of Spades. Good night for hard rock classics
Am unsure how I feel about it, tbh - I do like a bit of dub, but this is a bit pedestrian, and dub-for-the-sake-of-dub.
It brings nothing to the song, but it loses a lot of raw emotion. A bit too studied for my liking.

see also the squarepusher cover, which is so overly-reverential and close to the original it's pretty much pointless

Saw this lot supporting The Raveonettes in Budapest in 2015 & they were incredible. They played this too.

Agreed. The Squarepusher cover is pointless. A chaotic jagged re-imagining would have been much better.

Really really enjoyed this. Thx for sharing. Squarepusher version very disappointing. As @Silver_Owl said you would expect it to be a chaotic jumble of sample fragments, but no.

Their cover of Daydreaming by Radiohead is pretty darn good too. Very goose bumpy.
