There is a place in this world where the mountains are higher and it hardly ever rains although the water from the rivers is at it's most sweetest it literally makes your mouth water. That place is home and at this stage in my life I honestly need mountains around me and in all honesty it is so flat here where I now am (and sinking for that matter) it is within the rock and the cliff that the mountain in it's strength is so overwhelming...

....which thread am I on?

I like summer rain on a hot night and thunder stoems are a give

I love thunder storms and the electricity in the air and the way the wind is howling and blowing and the colours that are to be seen. There is so much awe in what nature presents before us and I hope that we give back to nature the way she gives to us. It makes my soul sad and angry to know that there is that fact that generations to follow will not know this world as we know it today and my hope is that everything that can be preserved and again be perserved and a BIG f**k YOU UP THE ASS to those who kill the wild life that is at the stage of extinction. This also gets my blood boiling that still today in this time there are still people dying of hunger and the whole attitude has changed to the "f**k the poor" and the "rich get richer"...good lord, love to all like the hippies say and the laying down of weapons as within these walls we have a thread about weapons the nuclear kind and I'm wondering as a parent and a person who does have love for humankind no matter their downfalls, can we allow this to happen? There is a future that we have to build for our children and grandchildren and maybe over 50 years we will be talking about the other planets as a place of home, but my wish is that we as humankind don't forget to love each other and if this message doesn't come across in this thread or whichever thread it may belong...

...I still love my thunderstorms in mountainous regions. :notworthy:

And James Ray you are indeed a star!

it depends on whether or not you are wearing leather trousers. Chafing could be a problem, I speak from experience
