wow me too! I was introduced to the sisters almost (and only) 2 years ago....but as soon as I heard them I knew it was the music I had been looking for in everything I listened to! Since then I've been introduced to more 80s...dare i say it...gothic bands (like it or not von I'm sure thats what you are...) and have come to the conclusion that I am an 80s..goth i suppose....that got lost on the way....I ask my mum quite often why she didn't give birth to me sooner  nothing compares to the 80s for music...cold war or not! the sisters, fields of the nephilim, the cult, alien sex fiend, the m*****n even, the cure and most of them are doing major tours this year :D the best year of my life has come I'm sure! anyway abit of a rant coz I've been drinking with mates, but I look forward to the gig and ranting with you some more!
:D I'll be the one making ironic jokes about the Dominion Theatre... which (ironically) is opposite the Astoria :P

I'll save you a seat..

If we're seriously expecting a big turn out at the pub it might be possible to reserve an area from the looks of the website.

Stick your name down if you intend to be at the pub -

 I get good grades fairly easily so if I work at it now...I get a good wage in the future...hence more money for drinking, debauchary and sisters gigs  be partying with you all, and harder than you all, in a few years

Mayday would have ruled, might have convinced the bf to join us at crouchs...I know he'd fit in, being a sisters obsessive etc for 15 years...in regards to music I wish I was him, he's seen the best time period for it. But he's warned me of getting a hangover prior to the sisters by going to crouch's...although he is the one trying to convince me to not go to my history class!
My teach is quite a party animal anyway strangely enough, he used to reward himself for revision with several bottles of cider and random Doors tribute gigs so I'm sure he'll understand.
by the way I love the sound of some of those cocktails at crouch's :D

don't tempt fate... more likely the fricking Met would end up closing Oxford street and the surrounding environs... including charing cross road!

we should get to euston by 2.30pm.

we're staying at the euston ibis so we should have checked in, freshened up and be good to go by about 5ish.

where's the drinkies? ;D

then its over to kings cross the train to leeds lunchtime the next day, check into the leeds ibis, and back out for drinkies there  ;D

trains are very cheap if you book them far enough in advance arent they? we booked our rail tickets last week and got 2 singles from kings cross to leeds for £9.50 each :o and the ones down from manchester to euston were only about 18 quid each :notworthy:

I'm also heading north via train for the bargin price of £9.50. Even better is the coach from Bristol to London £3.00. The internet is good for something.

Usually get the car but my driving friend (Nick) doesn't like driving in London, he drove all round Europe last summer mind. I shouldn't complain since i don't drive at all!

Matt..

Ben Crouch Tavern
77a Wells St, W1 (Nearest tube: Oxford Circus)
Tel: +44 (0)20 7636 0717
Cheesy gothic-horror themed chain pub, but if you're in the Oxford Circus area of Oxford Street, it's not a bad stop off.
