It was a weird day in Glasgow yesterday, everyone cheering on Portugal in the pubs but out on the street's there were loads of people waving union jack's, it was the annual Gay Pride march I believe

Gutted that England is out. Now we have to fight alone for the pride of Northern Europe.

Lets face it,we were s**t.It was worse than watching my team(Birmingham city).Same type of overpaid, passionless wankers.Only Hargreaves and Lennon deserve paying.

Strange for an Englishman, but looks like I'll be following Germany - Klose and Lahm in my Dream Team, clinging on to the top of the works league.

On June 5th, on page one of this thread, I wrote:I've also got a side bet that England will go out on penalties in the Quarters.
I wish that I genuinely had put a bet on that now :innocent:

England never, throughout ther time in the tournament, looked like scoring goals and Sven was way too negative.
I think Germany will go on to win it. I'd like Portugal to win it, even though they showed themselves to be a bit sly, well Ronaldo did anyway. Still I'd like it to be them, being the only one of the Semi-Finalists never to have won it.

Italy has got a strong team and deserved to win IMO.
Not sure if the French are strong enough to beat them.

Italy deserves to be erased from the surface of this planet.

Just MHO.

After the game I felt a bit sorry for Germany. I think the Germans thought that it was certain to go to penalties and they were caught.

I feel sorry for countries that went out of the tournament because of refs.
Australia for example....
