I can fit three (or maybe four if they're friendly ) people into the fiendmobile, which I shall drive up to Dave's place some time early Saturday evening. We can hang around there until he finishes cricket, then head back into Leeds on public transport. (I'll leave the fiendmobile at Dave's.) Then I can help get some folk back into Leeds on the Sunday.

I was hoping to play at home (just down the road) with the second team, but they ain't got a game, so I'll be off to the far flung parts of Barnsley way with the firsts. Bugger. On a positive note, we're really sh1t, so it might be over early.

Actually, my home-away-from-home whilst traipsing around on the correct side of The Pond will be my cousin's lovely cottage near Oxford. That's rather close to London, innit?

It's about 45 mins away

... and the coach stop that goes into Oxford about is 15mins away from me
