I think the YouTube responses on the Amsterdam gig are such fun.
'I hated this Karaoke Act!!! So many smoke!!! Better use a drumkit instead of a smoke machine!!! I didn't recognise 1 song!!!! Eldritch' hair was gone!!! Where's the goth vibe!!! Where's Wayne!!! Who are those guitarists!!! I hated this Karaoke!!! This is not a band!!! I went after 4 songs!!! What a shame!!!'
etc.

Hi there , I'm new on the forum and an old fan too who decided (finally ! ) to join u all here.
I was in Amsterdam gig too.
Well, expect few things like too much smoke and the drumkit I really had a good time. Pity they didn't play " Some kind of strangers ".

Welcome
I'd love to see the Sisters in Amsterdam, some of my favourite recordings are from the Paradiso.
But in response to your comment. Doctor A is a key part of the Sisters sound, do you not think it would be a bit wierd to listen to a Sisters song with drums?
Although it would be interesting to hear, I'm not sure it would really feel like the Sisters....
Were you expecting a drummer?

Great to meet you too and sorry I didn't see you afterwards. Everything became very confusing.
Ah - Charlotte, that was her name. Very lovely she was too.
I guess you mean Juliette....
She had a huge hangover the day after.
I didn't think Charlotte sounded right.
She was still very lovely though.
Yeah , of course I mean Juliette
I remembered her name was 'bandrelated', but instead of thinking
'Juliette and the Licks' I thought 'Good Charlotte'... , and she was indeed very lovely

First time I took my wife to see them, Astoria 2006, she not only asked 'Where are they?' but also 'Why can't we hear them?'

Thanks for the pics.
I liked this concert, as mentioned before the fog was on right level. And for me the sound level too.

To the majority of humanity these appear to be mere shapes behind a fog of dry ice and lights. To those in the know they are evidently contorted images of
The Sisters Of Mercy.
What can I say?
In my defense - I was terribly terribly drunk.

You must have been to the front and left of me judging by the placement of these shots. Sadly I didn't get to say hello as I have no idea what you look like and I'm a nervous goose anyway
