You fucker Stephen! I just knew that was you.

Bine had her heart set on 'that' as her Birthday present as she wanted to pair it up with 'dass' (which I bought for our 5th anniversary) and use them as book ends.

A symbolic representation of our Anglo-German relationship.

You bastard.

Unused. One careful owner.

Thanks for the tip, Pista. Should circumstances lead me to consider selling them, then I'll do that.

I had a very WTF moment on my way into work yesterday.

There's a former church, now a community centre, on Cardigan Lane in Leeds. There were about 100 crows jostling for space on its roof and making an incredible amount of noise.

I think I've witnessed a parliament of fowls.

the collective noun for rooks (also members of the crow family) is a parliament of rooks...and there is a behavioural phenomena of the same name according to Neil Gaiman in "the sandman".

he has got a terrific body actually but i think thats where the similarities end. there have been some terribly bad casting errors made with regard to rock stars though. the guy who played rotten in sid and nancy stands out for me.

 more like Rick out of the Young Ones. To be fair, Andrew Schofield was a good stage actor though.
Ewan McGregor wasn't too convincing in Velvet Goldmine either, but there have been some good ones - Sam Riley as Ian Curtis, Ian Hart as John Lennon.
With Charles Hawtrey sadly no longer with us, who would you get to play the role of :von: in a TSOM biopic ? Perhaps Daniel Radcliffe might not be too bad a choice after all ...

At least Ewan McGregor's singing was pretty good in Velvet Goldmine. And he has the excuse that Kurt Wilde isn't exactly meant to be Iggy. :innocent:
