Here is time for a longer review, yesterday was a hard day to recover after such a party.
The Sisters did really a great concert at Le Trianon, the sound was just perfect, not too low, not too loud, just the perfect balance to give a dynamic sound.
As said before the french audience helped by our fellow foreigners was really into the show, moving a lot and dancing everywhere (even on the balcony), the band felt it, we got in total 22 tracks, so one more track than the usual sets on the tour. I think even Andrew felt a bit emotional with the audience's reaction and the standing ovation, I remember he even said an humoristic "Ca suffit" (it means "that's enough") after receiving so many applauses.
It was nice to see that at the end of the concert The Nurse joining on the front stage for the final greetings, and it was funny indeed when they threw all these balls in the audience.
I have talked with many people who were not so satisfied with the previous french shows who think this concert was a real stormer !
Below you will find my videos, the sound is quite good I think and some filming are quite nice too, nevertheless my troubles started durng Lucretia when I had problems with the security, so starting from this song the videos are less better, indeed I got several warnings and even during Pipeline that was my last warning, I had to come with the security guy at the entrance of the venue, indeed they wanted me to erase everything from my camera, but after a very hard negociation I finally manage to keep all my videos, but could not film Temple Of Love at all ...
You will notice on The Pipeline video something quite funny, Andrew falling on the floor, fortunately he did not break any of his old bones
I am glad many of you come to the after-party at Le Couloir, it was great to chat with you all, I am sorry for the problems at the beginning of the after party cause there were some plugging problems with the equipements, but after everything was solved it went very well.
I am happy to have met Iesus, Ania, Quiff Boy, Neardark, Druide, spiggymr7, RadioJamaica, Christophe and all the others, it was really nice !
So here are the videos, for those who want I will upload somewhere the 4 Go of the high quality videos (better sound and video quality without that YouTube compression).
Soon some photos of the concert ...
Thanks for everything again !

Bloody hell that was a gig and a half, not to mention the weekend generally! Beautiful venue, cracking crowd, awesome show. Happy Birthday Sisters!
Too many folk to name names (wouldn't want to miss anyone) but Zeno, as is by now traditional, claims the 'Above & Beyond The Call Of Duty' award.
Vodka? Montmartre?

THE PARIS SHOW WAS AN ABSOLUTE BELTER!!! I can't make up my mind if this was better than Brussels 2 or not
Funny cardboard props during DJ set at start (I think it was a burning building, crashed car and big bit of moon rock). As for the Sisters, great sound, great crowd, great mood, nice balls (beach volleyballs to be precise) and nice to see the Nurse getting some well-deserved recognition at the end. The Phantom of the Opera bit before Pipeline was completely and utterly mindblowing!!! Also, it was wonderful to have hotel, venue and afterparty all within spitting distance and Montmartre is a great place to stay.
Rolll on Summer!

Oh yesss, it has to be said again: Z you're just the best tourmanager a jolly crew like us could ever want!
I guess everything has been said about this gig, but I just cannot leave it at that...
Many here speak about Brussels 2 and this as the best of the tour and yup, I fully agree there too
But, for me the Paris gigs are always a bit more magical. And Saturday was just so good it hurts (really, you should see all the bruises & stuff
) and now on this beautiful Monday eve I'm still in seventh heaven
and speaking French/English/Dutch mixed in one...
Also a very, very big shout out to Dr Avalanche for giving us a place to socialize after the gig. A tip of the hat to you, sir & also for the great vids you shared already
See you soon, people!

what a weekend
the Paris gig was was problably the best gig I ever went to, I have seen them play better, to me they played better @ Brussels2.
but overall Paris was a rollercoaster
despite some problemes on stage the sound was ace and the guys where having so much fun I gladly see past that.
the audience went mental from the moment Crash&Burn kicked in untill hours afte the gig had ended
like said before, the Nurse actually getting the recognition he deserves! the gifts that shine (postcards, volleyballs, posters, ... ) it all ads up to the best birthday tour we might have hoped for.
but before I forget one big BIG thanks to my 2 drivers,
Never-Land, Obviousman who made it all possible for me. I owe you guys
and to all of you who where there
see you next time!
now I'm going to try to sleep off the cold I got when I woke up this morning
(I survived paris but could not handle some cold wind
)
