going to Hungary on Saturday. Sunday we head to Balaton. Thursday we possibly head to Fezen fesztival to see Moonspell. this would be the first concert of the year. I have been just way too busy, I seriously need to rock n roll.

Thinking of going to Guido Belcanto tomorrow at the Sfinx festival...
(Only the Belgians and perhaps some of the Dutchies will know him I guess)
It's free, he's on at 5pm so it can be a family thing. Let's hope it doesn't rain

I thought it was great!
Last time I saw them they played around the 120 db mark or so and you can imagine that that noise was so much to handle that you couldn't even hear anything else but noise (no voices, no subtility). It was more like an event, but had little to do with the music.
This time around we've got pretty severe db limits forced by law. A thing MBV really didn't like and we'll probably don't see them again in Belgium anytime soon. But, playing around the 100db level, did help to open up the sound. Belinda & Kevin's voices were audible, as was the bass, synth & guitars... I recognised almost every song  Their final noise-a-thon was much shorter as usual, but for the rest it was a very decent gig. Glad I've seen them again, I even made a blurry pic:

Next up: Chic / Nile Rodgers tomorrow! Am polishing my disco boots in a minute ;D
