Happy St. Pat's and rest in peace oh Great Man.

from today's Glasgow Herald, the Big Yin will probably be the only one who gets this :(

"Away ahead of us
A Celtic fan, discussing Jimmy Johnstone's funeral cortege, wrote on a fans' website: "Have to disagree on the timings and route. I think that Jimmy will know exactly what we are expecting and instead he will, just as he leaves Uddingston, do a quick jink with his left shoulder and go through Coatbridge, Gartcosh and back down through Bargeddie.
"By the time we have worked out what is going on and are heading to intercept the cortege, he will have doubled back through Mount Vernon and with tyres screeching and rubber burning, he will stop all of a sudden in London Road... allowing us all to go flying by him.
"Then, when we've all ended up looking like idiots, he will stroll gently by us just so as he can have a quick birl round Bridgeton, the Barras and the Gallowgate, before making his final thrust through our, by now, totally confused ranks, back up to Celtic Park where he will sedately but triumphantly await our breathless but belated arrival."

St Paddy's night. My great grandfather was, apparently, a p1ssed-up Oirish geezer who'd stop at nothing to secure his next pint. My missus is keen to point out the similarities. :innocent: :P :innocent:

It's in the blood. Not my fault.

Spent last night in a bar drinking Guinness with some friends from work, ignoring the drunk fake-Irish people. Turned out to be a rather good evening.

Hee! I wonder how all the irish folk are feeling today?!
Probably something like :urff:

Hope you all had a good St. Patricks Day.

oh and I too have some irish blood flowing through this body. :D

Not Irish...there's something about my first name though...

Feeling not too good but still good enough to drink the rest of the vodka's waiting for me tonight, in that bar that's always closing...too early...in the morning :D

Oaaarrrrhhhhh.....

FvOk! Guinness is good for you?

I thought so last night too, but this late afternoon I'm going to review my assumptions :urff:

Or maybe it's the whiskey... maybe both...

*crawls back under his rock*

What Is CPR?
The letters in CPR stand for cardiopulmonary resuscitation, a combination of rescue breathing (mouth-to-mouth resuscitation) and chest compressions.
you have to take it ever two years to get recertified here might be different elsewhere.

Random!

Sat in a quiet pub in the end, with no green, no silly hat, no stupid accent, and jsut a single whiskey as a nod to the event - nothing more. I'm not Irish, no-one in my family is, there's no Irish blood in my ancestry. Why bother?

Good night, though.
