I love using the line ‘Aunt Barbara, I love you but you're gonna get it’ on people to see their reactions to being called Aunt Barbra.

Hello Lynch Fanatic,
as always you are the most beautiful flower on the board.
Mr. Lynch for me is Dune.
Epitome of a great film. No one can touch it.
Best wishes sweet, and hugs.

Nah, but it's still a fine show.
The good thing with DVDs is that it's on when you want it on.

Saw V For Vendetta tonight. Trash. An utter mess. Which is a shame as I love Natalie Portman.

I read the comics a while back, which is no easy feat since it's so godamn long. It had quite an effect on little me.
From hell was also a crappy movie. Just some useless love story with no focus and no guts. The main character in the book is Jack, that's what it's all about !

I saw Alan Moore a couple of weeks ago on the Culture Show on BBC2: he says he's going to stop letting them make films of his comics--
From Hell turned his fat 50ish balding Abberline into Johnny Depp's absinthe-slugging fop, about the only thing The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen had in common with the comic was the name, and he's actually made them take his name off V For Vendetta.
