Because the bass player (Adams?) asked why they didn't play any of his songs?

from what I've picked up wasn't it that Eldritch wanted the band to go the way he wanted it to regardless of the others opinions?

This comes from the m*****n website.

APRIL 1st

It seems that my 'little' April 1st joke has fooled some of you. Others not. I mean, I'm so over Ikea.......

Anyway, my apolgies to anyone that was offended or inconvenienced or went out and spent £69 on tickets to see SOM on the strength of my hoax. I hope there's been a lesson learned....Save your money for a good band.......And just to clarify, this was all my doing and had nothing to do with Paul Morgan.
Cheers,
Wayne

what a fucking knobwand! does he think his fans are that dense that they'd be fooled by a man who uses a rhyming dictionary?

his ability to offend me ended when i stopped buying his records circa "severina" (and would never have topped his wailing the first few lines of marian during "shelter from the bits of paper " in 1986) and once "giving ground" was released any inconvenience i may have suffered as a result of his leaving the sisters stopped. what a tosser.

and it's TSOM you hideous cunt.

Some idiot Mish fan did shell out for 3 tickets for the Leeds Sisters gig on the strength of the "April Fool" though. It was all over the get-a-life-journals.

Some of the sad goffs on there are wonderful comedy, albeit unintentionally. :innocent:
