"Got my gf's 15 year old tell'in me this is PUNK! " Complains 9while9

His G/F's kid is a very sweet 15 year old girl. As far as I can tell - she never called them punk or anything else so why don't you pick on someone your own size 9.

  :P Nine - be a biggie boy and play fair!

as a newbie to this forum i didn't expect my first post to be a rant but the 'new punk' thing and the old punk as 'cool' idea bugs the crap out of me.
'clarkes' the shoe shop are using models wearing ramones t-shirts in their shop displays, and girls can buy clash t-shirts with sequins on in top shop.
i guess it's just that i'm an old fart now but the current crop of new punk doesn't have any balls. it's all too cleancut and produced; not what the original idea was about!
anyway, rant over. thanks for listening, you've been a lovely crowd.

I've spent years trying to kick some sense into the PVC trench-coated idiots who call themselves Goff in my stinking city.
It's best to wait for them to grow up and see the light - or the dark - by themselves.

My brother is listening to a band called "Bowling For Soup" and I rememberd this thread.

Robert: "What genre of music do you consider this to be?"
Thomas (Brother): "Punk"
Robert: "LOL! Punk?!"
Thomas: "Yes"
Robert: "This ain't punk mate."
Thomas: "Yeah it is. Don't you like punk?"
Robert: "I ain't got no problem with punk, but this is certainly not it."
Thomas: "Yeh it is."
Robert: "Why don't you listen to real punk?"
Thomas: "What, like Green Day?"
Robert: "!!!!!!! You don't know the first thing about punk!"
Thomas: "You don't know the first thing about goth!"
