I am still up, I just off to bed for a couple of hours kip - before I collapse - having been up since 11 am Sunday morning, after a very late saturday night!

Your lucky you were toasting the bagels otherwise you would have been measuring them and toasting yourself. Easy mistake to make at that time of the morning

I think it might have been a case that me or one my housemates thought we were shrinking and we sought reassurance in a measuring tape..
