The original line-up...Gary? I don't quite understand - was that a condition for the "absolute mint"? In that case I can understand he turned it down. Or have I got it all wrong?

my understanding is that SJM offered somewhere upwards of tens of thousands of pounds for a tour including gary, wayne and craig. i dont know the specifics i'm afraid
however, i gather "i don't do nostalgia acts" knocked that offer on the head as soon as it had been made.

I
don't want Hussey back.
Not mad at him or anything. Just not interested.

What's Von holding out for, a miracle?
I'd like to think he's only been holding out for the funds to start recording!!! Now he's made / making a few quid, perhaps he'll put his money where his mouth is and DO IT after he's finished the tour. That's what I'd like to think...
Quote from the translation; "Andrew Eldritch finishes the interview saying that he felt like Jesus"
What's that all about? Wrote some interesting stuff quite a few years back? has a good following considering the lack of recent output ? Friends with St Paul(i)? The beard?.........................blimey, we missed the second coming!!!!!!

Ask Chris York - I had enough of him back in '91.

Well I've learned more about The Sissies current state from this than any other source over the last couple of years!

touring on old songs (with a few new ones mixed in) isn't a NOSTALGIA ACT? oh please, Mr Taylor... it is quite nostalgic, after all!

The part about "feeling like Jesus", Andrew also once said in Toronto in 1991 that he is like Jesus , "omnipresent, even in my absence."
Probably referring to after 16 years absence from Brazil, he was acknowledged by a press conference and some attention.
