It kind of reminded me way too much of Interpol etc when I gave them a spin but they have grown on me immensely.
I guess I just like that style of music

never really got interpol, and i have a bit of a loathing for the guys voice, but i dont mind some of the other stuff that use the same vocal style, like the editors, but i find they lack good tunes and good songs.

one thing i really do like about the "she wants revenge" album is that they have some f**king storming tunes... the 1st track is a bit wishy washy but after that they pick up the pace and most tracks way more balls than interpol or the editors. also, some of the production is very new wave/synthy - hints of depeche mode and human league in places. very cool. me like. 8)

I picked this up on the recommendation of this thread-should put that on the CD blurb

It is a fantastic album, yes very interpol and in turn Joy Division-but such a good sound.

Dare I say it's Goth without the bats?

These Things is a cracking track. Some of the stuff I downloaded from Lime Wire was ok, but his voice can get a bit annoying.

Gonna listen to the live boot to see what that's like.

EDIT: Well I have to say, they sound really good live, I'm gonna give the album a listen, I want to like it 8)

I think Justin Warfield knows what he's doing and definitely on to a winner with this stuff.

Just bought the CD and yes, it`s a lot like a timewarp. Very nicely done, folks!
;D A lot more music like that, and the day may come that I turn on my radio again. For the first time in several years, maybe 7 or 8 years.
Just could never stand the R`n`B crap, Hippy Hoppy junk and mindless melodyless technorubbish. I know I´m not alone with my opinions here.
I stood in a trafic jam on a hot summer day, had the windows down, so I could hear the guy in the car in before me rage about the crappy program. He got louder and louder, and after maybe 15 minutes he started hammering on the dashhboard and finally tore the radio out and threw it out of the window..
 : A tape may save your radio..
;D
