I am after the Chemist mostly because of that beautiful prints.I asked a few guys if they could scan them for me but seems everyone is unwilling.I would gefinitely buy a signed copy but somehow The Postcards are turning into the DD of Sisters's books

Conudrum? Depends. The quality of the hardback version of any book is usually superior compared to the paperback one. And it's - by far - the same for this one.
Furthermore, I'm not sure, whether the colour plates of the singles are included in the paperback, and if so ... hhm, it is definitely not the same quality of paper.
Also printwise the paperback is clearly of lower quality. Insofar it's mainly the signature that counts for this one, IMO.

ah, had not realised the prints we not in the paperback!
and yes I'd agree with you re hardbacks, I was surprised that the signature seems to be the only reason for the paperback on ebay to command such a high price?

I have the paperback and it conains a lot of Andrea's art,but none of it is in colour.

I remember when I received the paperback from The Reptile House,
I was so gutted, that I put it back into the envelope and preferred to forget where I'd stored it ...
...
Honestly, already that green colour on the cover is ... well, as good as anything.
