And here i was thinking that he was lurking around here somewhere. Oh well, at least Rowland still comes out of the shadows for the odd gig.

If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

and while you're at it, I like to have this one back too.

Apart from most of the eighties and Ticket Machine yer man Bowie has had a bit of a resurgence critically if not commercially (IMO). I have never seen him live but have heard the last tour and it was very good.
He is getting on a bit so perhaps if we could de-age him and he can do it all again!!!

I saw him in 96 and 2003. He still had the moves.weebleswobble wrote:Apart from most of the eighties and Ticket Machine yer man Bowie has had a bit of a resurgence critically if not commercially (IMO). I have never seen him live but have heard the last tour and it was very good.
He's become too much of a business man for my taste, or at least it's now a bit too obvious : who wants a Bowie credit card ?
But too call him dead is a bit far-fetched. All his albums since and including Outside have been very decent to say the least.

I think someone set my soul alight
Johnny Thunders, Razzle and Stiv Bators.
Imagine the resurrection party
Also Bon Scott, obviously. I'd like to ask him if he did write any of Back in Black.
Joe Strummer, it wasn't his time.
and I'd like to share a joint with Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley
bet Bob would bogart it though
