Should this man be our next political leader?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Should this man be our next political leader?

Why not, he makes some sense and my "tolerance" is strengthened by his words.

No. It's much like posting a clip of a goth who's gone on a gun rampage in a Canadian school to get a point across that goths pose a threat to us. Attitudes like yours has crafted the state subsidised war crimes committed in the name of "defense" and "freedom". The terrorism boils down to the U.S. support of Israel's shameful treatment of Arabs in Israel and the presence of U.K. troops in Iraq.

Well, you should know. That's how they've greeted your liberation army, right? I don't see them as my friends more than any other people. Difference is, I don't see them as enemies. Then, again, maybe they don't hate my freedom, just yours.

The presence of Western troops on Arab territory has increased the support for radical Islamic movements. Using these movements as an argument for the continuing of extreme measures shows just the profound lack of insight into the workings of cause and effect that the U.S. has excelled in over the last few years.

Posting images of radical Islamic leaders, asking "Is this the way you want it in the future?" does exactly the same thing. It's xenophobic, hate-mongering, and worthy of Julius Streicher-wannabes such as Ann Coulter.

The "hate-mongering" as you put it was done by the man in the video posted, not by me.

Typical ignorant attitude,

So, then, exactly what were the motives for your posting these clips with an accompanying poll asking ironically if they strengthened people's "tolerance" towards Muslims?

Also, how "tolerant" is it to wage a war of aggression on Arab ground, carpet bombing residential areas and executing people who oppose it? No wonder these people are pissed. Cause and effect, yet again.

While I do agree that a lot of the muslim antagonism to the west is as a result of US and UK foreign policy in the region, I don't think that the type of regime where people are flogged for attending a gay wedding or executed for "witchcraft", apparently under Islamic laws, should be tolerated.

And no, I'm not talking about "axis of evil" regimes like Iran, I'm talking about the "friend of the West" Saudi Arabia.

Mugabe - maybe you should view it again and listen to what he is saying. He believes the British are no better than dogs - because of the way they go to the pubs every Friday and "get drunk, and vomit." He says the British love that! - like dogs. not people. dogs. He does not see your culture as productive. You are sub-human.

Also, anyone who dares to say that what he and his thug friends are doing is wrong will be bombed. INDISCRIMINATELY. And rather than protect civilians, women, and children - they will laugh and laugh as we suffer - they think it is hilarious. The AlQuaida are nothing better than drug running thugs. They would saw your head off because "dogs" can't really think or feel for that matter.

No in Iran its just normal offences like, enmity with God

Idiot Islamic Fundamentalist with chip on shoulder: "British people are dogs, and their women are whores."

Idiot Catholic Fundamentalist with a silly hat: "Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached."

Idiot National Socialist Fundamentalist with silly moustache: "Die juden sind unser Ungluck."

Idiot Blue-Rinsed Fundamentalist with alcoholic husband: "A world without nuclear weapons would be less stable and more dangerous for all of us."

Turns out that you don't need religion or a silly hat to be a nutter, just an opinion that you shout loudly enough to drown out everyone else.

Personally, I'm with :von: on the Idiot Catholic thing:

"Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the idea of the Pope in many ways, but fair's fair: anybody who so consistently deludes the Third World into protracting the wretchedness of the Dark Ages deserves to do it from Nowheresville."

I don't tolerate nutters of any stripe, as it goes - religion generally doesn't play a part unless some idiot rings my doorbell at 8am on a Sunday and asks if I've invited some hippy bloke into my life - apparently they nailed this poor bugger to a tree ages ago (which seems a bit extreme), and ever since people have been going round asking people if they know him. Seems an odd basis for a religion, but hey, if it works for you, fairy 'nuff.

What I never got was why some people are desperate to have you believe in their religion - is this a "misery loves company" thing?

I believe religion is a personal thing, never to be forced upon others.

As far as I'm aware, Mugabe is actually Swedish or summat...?

Never mind eh? Why should we let awkward little facts get in the way of blanket generalizations, hysteria and polemics? And I'm not talking about the Muslim chappie...

Denial = why history repeats itself. Let's take a look at the facts. There is a group of people out there who are in the very lucrative heroin trade who also believe that any culture but theirs is sub-human. They have infiltrated Europe and used their own politics against you as they condemn the "terrorism" of the U.K. They hate all of you - no amount of commiserating with them will make them see you as a "human." They have been taught since birth that you are no more than a dog.

In order to protect youselves you have to see the danger you are in for what it is. Don't be foolish and turn this into a political issue - that is what they want.

Amen to that brother. :notworthy: While we're all very eager to point our fingers at the US for hollowing out the merits of democracy like civil rights et all, we tend to forget that there isn't such thing even existing in most of the islamic countries. :|

@DarkAngel & Mugabe: To post those videos or to show those pics is just a completely silly way of pushing a valid discussion from rational to emotional. (You learn fast. You've used the media just as the Hisbollah and Israel in the recent war have used the media. To raise hate against the opponent. Pfui)

Hear hear - the media has done a fantastic job of scaring people, and has in some instances worked hand-in-glove with and been manipulated by the government that wants to keep people scared. Scared people won't object to illegal wiretaps, torture, extraordinary renditions, and watering down of some of the Geneva Conventions, so long as it can be justified as "security".
I cannot imagine what it is like to live in a world that is that scary. Without question there are whackjobs in the world - you can find them everywhere. I hear that there are people who think that black people should all be sent back to where they came from, who think that "whitey" is the cause of all the ills in the world, who think that jews should be driven into the sea and who think that Israel will never be safe until every last muslim has been killed.
When did we start giving so much credence to nutters and loons? I must have missed that meeting.

They have gave it to themselves. And as others were busy taking care of their lives, their took care of taking control of the lives of the ones who had better things to do.
Naked apes will tend to live according to their instincts. "If he don´t look like me, he´s probably evil!" is part of the mamal set of instincts.
Works with Sabre-toothed tigers, boar and a variety of spiders and snakes. Necessary line in the programm throughout thousands of years. God didn´t change this program. I suggest two possible reasons for that:
a) He´s bad at programming. (Is Bill Gates god?)
b) He´s not there.

Does this make England illegal?

It has gay people in it :(

Though I guess that makes Elton John illegal...personally I'd have stopped at the music, not the man :von:

Sir Elton John should be illegal for that syrup, not to mention his bad tunes, Euyuchh!
