There are bigoted idiots in London. This means that all British people are anti-Semitic now?
Do you want me to start posting links to some of America's own
bigoted idiots? (Warning: do not click on this link if you are of a nervous disposition.)
Argument by link doesn't really get us anywhere.
Yes there are anti-Semitic people in Britain, but to accuse the whole nation off the back of this is a sweeping generalisation.

That Times article does rather tippy-toe around saying that it's largely a Muslim problem, but reading between the lines, and that's what it's saying. And is it really a surprise considering recent events?

It is quite unfortunate for the citizens of England who are subjected to anti-semitism.
It is always helpful when people say, "I see that has happened to you," because then positive action can be taken to stop the violations.

"Islamist politics is one of the most important issues for the future of the Left and for democracy. Getting the right answers will define the world's future. Labour has to shun Islamaphobia. But it has to find answers to calls for censorship and for implicit support or justification of killing travellers on the London Underground. It needs to find answers to those who place the rights of humankind below theological interpretations of God's will – whatever that may be.
The Taliban is not known for its tolerance, liberalism or rationality. Yet it was openly supported by some British citizens up to 2001. A political speaker in London in 2004 had this to say: "These are the Jews, a continuous lineage of meanness, cunning, obstinacy, tyranny, licentiousness, evil and corruption." Had such language been used by someone in the fascist British National Party, there would have been uproar. In fact, the remarks were made by a preacher at a London Muslim Centre. No one seemed to care. In the 1930s the Left knew its politics. By the time of the Taliban, the Left had stopped thinking. "

Judging by BBC news reports from the past 7 days (
here,
here, and
here) it seems that anti-Muslim violence is even more common than anti-Jewish violence, so I'm a bit confused as to the emphasis of this thread, however...
All of these attacks need to be stopped.
Criticising the extremist inhumane Israeli foreign policy is no more anti-semitic/anti-Jewish than criticising the extremist Islamic fundamentalist terrorists is racist/anti-Muslim.
However, attempting to portray Muslims in general as maniacs who want to take over the UK/World is as rabidly racist, ill-informed and stupid as attempting to portray Jews in general as war-mongers who support the bombing of Palestinian children.
I think we're all intelligent enough here not to confuse the extreme actions of a small minority (whether it be scattered cells of terrorists or the current government of one small nation) with the views of the vast majority.
