Will make a full list soon. Mainly CDs with some cassettes sold at early gigs with some merch and other fan club stuff. I also have a one off button up shirt with the chapter & verse print on the back.

Will do - I'll put a list together of all kinds, probably best in the general chat as there's more than just Rosetta stuff I need to clear.

Back on the subject of Rosetta Stone rarities (so to speak)....
I've recently been digitising some old tapes and one of them was the 'Under The Rose' cassette recorded at Leeds Warehouse back in 1991.
So if there's any Quarriers still knockin' around who want to grab a copy of this then help yourselves

Porl is, at http://www.miserylab.com/
I'll abstain from my usual ranting about how it sickens me that a MySpace page is an official website.

You know, I do actually have this on tape but it's so much easier when a kind Heartlander makes it available for download.Rise&Reverberate wrote:Back on the subject of Rosetta Stone rarities (so to speak)....

If there are any particular Rosetta Stone items people are after, post them here and if they are what I have, I'll list them on Tazbar. Lower fees than eBay and the service is probably better (it can't get any worse since it's run by clucking chickens with the brain of an egg)

under the rose was released as a CD-R by the band in 1997 , it was subsiquently weeded through the rosetta stone mailing list, by err me. Except my version had the tracks segmented where as porls was as it it was one long track, remember that in 1997, CD recording had only really just started.
The original under the rose was a recording through the mixing desk on to a TDK D90 cassette tape, oohhh how hi tech.

I'd like to take this moment to say how friggen cool they are, without clogging up the rest of the forum.
I am listening to that Under the Rose boot (lovingly made into a proper CD, with artwerk and picture disk) and it feels like hot lead in my guts.
I know that this will pass in time, leaving behind just another band that I really like, but this feeling is why I love music, and why I am forever seeking out new things, and its lasting longer with RS than many other bands.
What a bloody excellent fix.

"Sisters are doing it for themselves". I haven't listened to my CD for ages but if my memory serves me right Mr Ray had partaken in quite a few bottles of newky brown. I also remember the Rosetta info mag thing saying the same thing.taylor wrote:>13/10/91, The Riverside, Newcastle (encore w/ James Ray) 1 (3:56) CD

I've had this one for ages, can't recall who i got it from, and I don't think it's mp3 sourced. Its pretty good quality.allfear wrote:

Is the Rosetta Mailing list the Yahoo one linked from the myspace page?
I think I joined that about a month ago, but nothing has actually come through...news a little bit sparse per chance?
