Hmmm....
Talking is a far cry from actually signing a contract.
No celebration from this quarter just yet.

Just joking, but I AM gonna join the 'Not Jumping Up And Down' party. I'll save that for when I hear Crash & Burn and War On Drugs (studio versions) blasting out of the stereo. THEN I'll do some jumpy stuff.
you'll be lucky. look out for a finished version of 'still' and an as yet unplayed live instrumental called 'etto'

Well they seem to have approached him, and his demands ain't exactly secret, but who knows?
Maybe Von would be happy with some guaranteed promotional muscle and might be prepared to forego a substantial chunk of money on those terms?
Or maybe he has no intention of ever releasing anything, and is getting far too many jollies from laughing up his sleeves at his fans?

I'll beleive it when I see it. I think we can count out "Summer" or anything else Pearson co-wrote if anything new does actually appear. How many songs does that leave us with that could be released, six or less?
As for those who vowed not to see TSOM play live again, it isn't just the casual fans. Some die hard fans, myself included, won't go to see them again either. An hour and a quarter thereabouts of semi-live music doesn't really make a good night out. Like them or not, aging prog rock outfit Yes can give at least double that and they qualify for OAP bus passes!

I truely WANT to get excited. I really really do.
When I have some good material to wank over then I'll do a Blast.
A big picture, about 12" square would do it.

i'm serious and naive as i sometimes use to be - the link to the record company's website - does it mean we could be more excited than usually?

Not really. Remember the positive talks with Mute during the 90s? Even if this ain't bogus, it's still at a very early stage of even that part of it.

I saw Yes in San Francisco in 1998, with Sherwood and Khoroshev. They did a great show and released a bad-ass album a year later. Then for some reason they got that wankstain Wakeman back and that seems to have killed the band dead.
The Sisters should learn a lesson from this: if you don't release your new songs you fall into the nostalgia band market, playing the same crap endlessly to a dwindling bunch of people who lost their virginity to you decades ago.

I guess I don't know what you're referring to, mh... "Technical writing"? What does this mean exactly? Does he write computer manuals as a sideline? Or are you joking? And what's "all the rest..." I know he's done *one* remix, and rumored to have done some techno records (which I seriously doubt). Any info on other activities will be appreictaed...
Y Señor Blast: I'm so happy my post has been of such... how shall I put it? service to you.

We still need to know if the classic King Crimson line-up of Bruford/Cross/Fripp/Muir/Wetton will ever bury their hatchets, reform and make us all happy, once more?
well, me and Z need to ken

90125 was brilliant, best in my opinion. Had to laugh when I was reading the booklet for the 4CD set just issued by The Art Of Noise. Trevor Horn is quoted to have said about Yes's manager (after he heard the band didn't like his production work on 90125) "He can stick his f**king old band up his arse"
