Ken Livingstone enlists pelicans...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

car 2 is a range rover which although it has a V8 3.5L lump, its booked in for an LPG gas conversion which is one of the cleanest fuels for both the enviroment and the cars own engine!
Why 4x4'S? coz they're great toys in the mud and offer significant safety margins when dealing with some of the fcukwits that infest london's roads!
also, last year i had a terrible accident, i rolled my discovery at 80+mph on the M6 near Carlisle, the car was a mess but the wife and i both walked away from the wreakage!
I don't want to be your friend anymore

is that because you dislike my taste in cars or the fact that i went roof-surfing at 80mph or because i wanna use LPG?

eotunun: ta for the tip@ its one of those things that i knew i had to do but never knew why!

Favourite Cars sounds like a good idea for a thread! Give me a Scirocco any day! Failing that, a VW Polo G40 just for the Grandma's-shopping-car look at the traffic lights, until the lights change green and the supercharger kicks in - brilliant fun p!ssing all over jags, mercs and beemers in a car that cost under £2K!

I always find their 'Utes' quite funny

(Always thought a Commodore was more like a Vectra though )

James, This car may be ugly as Maggy Thatcher, out of fashion, have no image. If you are short of money, you probably won´t find a better bargain..
Image
I bought one for 150 DM (That´s 75€!) which carried me to work and back for two years, without ever failing.
I don´t know if the tax on cars without catalyst is as high as in Germany, I paid 386€ each year for the 340´s 1.4 litre engine over here..
240s and 740s are also highly recomendable, as long as they have the four cylinder gas engine. That´s THE Volvo block that gave the brand it´s reputation, and surely is one of the best engine designs ever.
