Currently digging out Hurricane Fighter Plane from a stack of CDs. To be followed by The Impossible m*****n and Smells Like... (which I have on brown vinyl with a mock MR label - "a merciful relief", "rise up and wipe yer bum", etc
)

saw em a few years back @ the Astoria, London, i think they were brilliant, bit of a weird night!
'All our yesterdays' is still one of the few albums i can play all the way through!
Will try and convince 'The Handbrake' (Wife!) that they are worth seeing and will try to get along to it!

Is anyone going to this? Its a bit of a late start on the night, so plenty of time for lots and lots of beer!
Anyone recommend a decent nearby pub?

They are still alive - good to see. But no gigs in Germany. Hopefully they will play at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig this year. I´ve only seen ASF one time some years ago and it was great.

Yup, I agree 100%. Nice venue (full of weirdos though
), Nick and co were on fire. From the first song (Smells Like Sh!t) to the last one (another one I didn't know
) 100% entertainment. Good, clear sound, minimal smoke, and Nick prowling the stage like a scary scarecrow (but in a lovable way).
Absolutely loved it!
Mrs Fiend is a bit of a dish too.....
