This one, the one on King Street. I know it's a bit of a distance from Queen Street (I guess the royal couple don't get on very well
), but t'was Don's choice out of a couple of
veggie-friendly options I found for him. Yeah, he's one of
them!

Aaron might turn up later, depending on how far he gets with his essay.

What?? Your missus has just dropped, and you're gonna use that as an excuse to not go on a night out?? Poor. Very poor.

What time then?
May I suggest 12.30 for the lunchtime folks (since Don'll have to be getting his train for 2.30), we can just meet up at the 13th note is that's OK for everyone?
We'll make our way up quite leisurely like...

Well, can't speak for anyone else but I had a lovely time.
Blast was sorely missed, Aaron seems like a top chap, the regulars were on fine form.
That's all.

T'was a good nite out indeed.
A massive "
NEXT" to James Blast for eating that Cheese dip or whatever it was 2 days past its sell-by
We missed you
Must echo Steven's sentiments about Aaron - he was a lovely guy, really fab to meet him, and if he's not been scared witless after a night with us he's evidently made of strong stuff. It would be nice if you could bring him along with your muffins again, Andrew
To those of you who were smart enough to avoid the spoiled dairy products - it was really nice to see you as always. Let's do it again soon, eh?

Cheers. Aaron enjoyed meeting you all and thankfully was not put off coming again! Despite getting a hell of a hangover and throwing up twice the morning after

You did indeed. Sadly, Pat had to leave early just as it was warming up. T'was a bit quiet in the Griffin, particularly as it was a Saturday. I've heard rumours that it's going to close down. Not sure if that's true but the place did have a bit of a sinking ship feeling. Sleazy's was more lively, as was my local (McPhabbs) where we ended up for last orders. They play a nice mix of music there - Big Balls, followed by the theme from Minder takes some beating!
And now Aaron is feeling ill once again after taking a leaf out of your book and eating a dodgy kebab. I have no sympathy - kebabs are the devil's work...

Well maybe the one after - he's off to Amsterdam till the summer

Forgot about that! A moment of comedy genius.
