Tim b. busy again

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

i still wonder why tim didnt come on stage with the girls on the exxile tour, vision thing with three guitarists would have been pretty darn good.
Not as good as Motorhead, but better than The Birthday Party, which makes us pretty damn good.

Probably an issue with cash. Btw. wasn't there a former Cure guitarst Eldritch was after as a replacement for Sheehan in 1997. Always wondered how he came up with Varjak?

Perry Bamonte, ex-roadie turned guitarist (1990-2005).

Perry : Yeah. Sorry Eldritch but... I thought I had to play the SOM 'cause I'm a bit of a Sisters fan. It's a good EP, and it's better than "More".

Sisters of Mercy. Kiss and light (sic)

Actually I messed up : the last bit referred to the next song, which was Echo and the Bunnymen's "All my colours", and not the Girls.
Allow me to edit the quote. :innocent:

Tim was the first Goth 'Star' that I ever met, and until we supported All About Eve, as far as I was concerned XC-NN was the best band we ever supported.
