aye, Eldritch was spotted in Bobbejaanland! Wally singing 'Vliegmasjien' in the back!
Off topic: Wally in the news. For those who are not familiar with Belgiums top secret: Eddy Wally is Liberace for disabled lunatics, if Liberace is for professors.
The news says that Eddy caused a traffic accident this week, and Wally excused himself at the victim with signed posters and photographs!

on that same site, there's now something new added:
http://www.festivalnoise.be/index.php?p=nieuws&id=3106
They are saying that John Watts will be playing on Rock Affligem on saturday 19th of May. And that he'll share the stage with the Sisters.
Nothing official, but... here's me hoping

The webmaster really should write THE Sisters Of Mercy. Von otherwise decides that Watts can have the stage for himself only.
Bloody Belgians...

But, to make it up to you there's another newsflash: PEARL JAM will come to Werchter on 29th of June! Maybe this can make you smile again

I am thinking about going to this one if/when it's confirmed.
As there are lots of Belgians on this forum, I just want to ask if anyone knows how to get into Brussels after the concert without driving (drunk)?
Is it so close that even taxi can be considered if one stays overnight on the western outskirts of Brussels?

You should come! No question 'bout it!
Affligem is not very far from Brussels, about 25 km... so that's a 20 minutes drive or something like that. You could try walking, no

Depends how much you'd want to fork out for a cab and exactly where you consider 'the outskirts of Brussels' to be, as they're kind of stretched out over a wide circularlike area (well, for Belgium they are. Even Leuven could be considered 'the outskirts of Brussels'
). You could take your chances with public transportation, but you'd have to check if late trains and buses will be available...

I wouldn't count on public transportation after the gig. Their day stops mostly around 11pm... Maybe the first bus in the morning

On the oficial site of rock affligem, nothing is scheduled so far...

The Sissies aren't coming to Affligem after all, so no need to start arranging flights, hotels, walkabouts, etc.
Okay then, now that's out of the way... what about a doubleheader Lowlands/Pukkelpop?!

I read it in the stars
no, on the forum of that festival somebody asked if the Sisters were coming yes or no. Apperently that person received a mail from the organisation that made it very clear: no. It could be bollox, but I'm afraid not...
