The Sisters of Mercy Confirmed for Germany's Battle of Metal

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Jesus, battle of metal? I'd suffer from Aqua to Tiesto to see the Von Gang Children live at a festival, but black metal is so utterly f**king... seriously... heavy.

Now, having less time for the Internet than previously and checking Heartland after weeks or months, I just don't read all unread posts - as I used to do... as I would like to do...

In 2001 I was on a Sissies concert where Paradise Lost were their support band. Now they have lots of Metal-supporters ;D

With a skinhead and would be neo nazi for a singer (which doesn't implicate the band, but we were being lumped in regardless)? Guess again...

Well it's not their first Metal Festival appearance. Finland last year being the latest, and guess you haven't forget Bands Für Bands in Reuterstadt-Stavenhagen 1998? Atrocity, Dimmu Borgir, Therion and every other band on the Nuclear Blast rooster + Lacrimosa. 8)
It was my first Sisters show and by far the best I have attended. :von:

Yes, that's it. They couldn't afford the thirteen virgins we were planning to ritually - as in hierogamy - sacrifice...
