another summer spoilt
Its well known that the girls dont really play the UK in the summer though, am not starting saving just yet, did see a thingy about Chris playing with turbonegro tho on his myspace..........
Not as good as Motorhead, but better than The Birthday Party, which makes us pretty damn good.
If they would just come to Finland for a second time. I have absolutely no money for travelling outside the country.
And i really hate myself for the last years gig, i was so damn drunk back then that i remember barely any details about it. Well, i didn't even know the band back then...

May in Glasgow and Leeds were pretty damn summery, last year.

I agree with Lee. I think it'll be Summer festivals & nothing else. Hoping otherwise of course...

I guess we'll just have to hope for a gig at JW again, then...Purple Light wrote:I agree with Lee. I think it'll be Summer festivals & nothing else. Hoping otherwise of course...

I'm crossing fingers, eyes, toes for a UK date.nitestorm wrote:Its well known that the girls dont really play the UK in the summer though, am not starting saving just yet, did see a thingy about Chris playing with turbonegro tho on his myspace..........
I reckon they should headline THIS. Saw Echo & the Bunnymen there last year (fave Mac quote of the day= "have these Ben & Jerry dudes got any ice, ice for the bev?") So ~ tons of free ice-cream, a helter skelter & the Girls ~ what summer idyll? Ah, but tickets were only £5, can't see it happening
Am overjoyed they're playing, and really didn't expect it this year. Time to raid the piggybank. Thank G*th the Astoria won't be my last Sissies show and i won't make the mistake of staying so sober this time
Yea, it just happened that the festival day was nearing it's end and i thought "well, nothing intresting left to see, i'll just get wasted" and then a friend of mine grabbed me by the neck saying "come on, you gotta see the best band on the planet".Nic wrote:Drunk... you must be Finnish.Gorgane wrote:If they would just come to Finland for a second time. And oh yes, in Finland a festival tends to mean an infernal drinking party.
