i think Always corporation would be the best label for The Sisters Of Mercy
worldwide promotion and so on
Andrew Eldritch on every pack of those thingies saying "Bloody nice chick, bloody nice album"
rerecorded Blood money as Blood panties and so on

I vote for the following:

Top Nite Out
Crash And Burn
Come Together
Will I Dream
Summer
Susanne
Slept
Still
War On Drugs
Romeo Down

In the real world, I settle for the following, due to different sources and the need to minimise the annoyance of varying levels etc.

Top Nite Out
Crash And Burn
Will I Dream
Summer
Susanne
Slept
Still
Come Together
War On Drugs
Romeo Down

Tracks 1-7 Brussels 29.5.06
Track 8 NEC 1993
Tracks 9-10 Neerpelt 98

I have spent too much time thinking about this.

What will the name of the album be?!
Either they'll take the name of a song
( In that case I bet it'll be "Will I dream")
or they'll slightly adjust the name of a song
( In that case, "Still Around" would be nice ;P)
or they''ll just pick some name
( in that case, :notworthy: I'm not worthy to make one up...)

the sisters of mercy: crash and burn

one:crash and burn / summer / will i dream / slept / suzannne

two:come together / war on drugs / romeo down / top nite out / still

the order of "some songs still wander....." isn't bad.

top nite out has to be the last but one as it is live. start of side two would be nice if it twere th'olden days.

just straightforward properly done studio versions of these tracks with an extensive live dvd compilation bundled with it would do me.

I reckon :von: is utterly terrified of releasing a new record due to the ridiculous amount of time since the last one and the pressure that creates.
Also the "not releasing records and magically retaining enough of a fanbase to tour every time he needs catfood" approach seems to work for him. Might this evaporate after vision thing II, potentially a similar record a couple of decades later ?
Stagefright and a lack of output seems to have suffocated him creatively.Tragedy.
Blaming Adam now looks a bit silly too.
I think the drug damaged old dude might still releasing something to prove everybody wrong and out of his own sense of perversity.
Being written off and coming back was something he used to do every couple of years. :(

@Eastmidswhizzkid- sincerely hope your ok.

All we need is a H/lander to win the Euro Millions, give Von his £3 million or whatever he requires, plug it big style & hey presto! If it doesn't do well, Von doesn't care cos he's got cat food money for a squillion years & neither do we cos we've got what we need.

Pipe dreams maybe but sometimes they happen... ;D
