Physics lessons?! I can only dream of being able to grasp such things. I, too, have always loved astronomy, but my math disabilities ruined that course for me in college. I got horrible marks in chemistry in high school, for the same reason. Not only was it utterly humiliating for me, but my p1ss-poor math and science marks also ruined my high school grade point average. Good-bye scholarships! And yet no one thought to notice that there was a serious problem, here - no one suggested testing or tutoring, or anything of that nature that might have helped my grades *and* my self-esteem. I was just, ya know,
lazy and not applying myself to the material. Mmhmm.
B@stards!

Don't feel too bad, Aunty Sinny, I'm a Physics student, and wanna study it at uni, and I
still don't get half of it.

Indeed
Used to be said that only 3 men in the whole world fully understood relativity... I can believe it!

Do you remember the scientist who says that men are going to get extinkt?
When
WE are
all dead, I can hear
YOU complain about it.
Oh, and Claire, that quotation is from the early days of the twentieth century, so the three probably are dead. So probably no one does really understand relativity anymore..!?

A nerd is supposedly someone with poor social skills but high interest in technology.

A nerd is a pale, shy guy who likes to spend his time in front of a computer, who puts up articles on the technical details of How Stuff Works on his webpage and who is never seen without thick-rimmed glasses (well, sort of).

Somewhat nerdy. I mean face it, you are nerdier than about half the test takers.

I have to question the definition of Nerd-dom here...
(guess that increases my score already...
)
A "nerd" doesn't have to be a
computer nerd, someone who knows every bloody buggering useless thing about computers. When it came to that question, "how much RAM does your computer have", I had no idea
. Incidentally neither did my dad, who bought the computer originally... and he has made his living as a computer programmer for the past 35 years! And also reads everything he can that's physics-related and intends to do a degree in it when he retires, "just for fun"
.
Nerd always meant to me someone who was just (supposedly) a little too keen academically, with a kind of autistic knowledge of one or more subjects. Or is a that
geek? Oh it's a minefield!

56% scored higher (more nerdy),
1% scored the same, and
43% scored lower (less nerdy).
What does this mean? Your nerdiness is: 43%
Somewhat nerdy. I mean face it, you are nerdier than about half the test takers.
and i never even lied

Don't they say when you say you get it you don't fully get it?
EDIT: Just realised: That's quantum theory

I think a
nerd is a bit worse than a
geek. Dunno.

Well almost. It's if you're not utterly discombobulated by it you don't understand it, I think that's it. Well that
could be my own phraseology, but you get the point...
