How harsh your winter winds,

Can whisper tales of gore,

So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins,
For peace and trust can win the day despite all your losing.

 I wondered where she'd been all this time...weird.

It's not really my thing, but it's great to see her again! ;D

Have seen her on and off over the last 14 years and whilst every album is not a classic, there have been enough great tunes to make her (arguably) one of your greatest musical exports of the last decade ( or so!)

This should bring back memories, then.

Painful and gorgeous. :notworthy: :von:

OK Ludella
It's 1am in dear old blighty. I'm off to bed as I need to arise at 7am to ensure the daughters get apresent for their friend Sian for her 5th BIRTHDAY.
It will be taking place at the Space Funzone (real name) at 4pm tommorrow. Tantrums and Tiaras will appear

Just remember if there's a

'If there's a bustle in your hedgerow
Don't be alarmed now

It's just a rumble for the pre -teens'

which reminds me........................

Could be!
Who knows?
There's something due any day;
I will know right away,
Soon as it shows.
It may come cannonballing down through the sky,
Gleam in its eye,
Bright as a rose!

Who knows?
It's only just out of reach,
Down the block, on a beach,
Under a tree.
I got a feeling there's a miracle due,
Gonna come true,
Coming to me!

Could it be? Yes, it could.
Something's coming, something good,
If I can wait!
Something's coming, I don't know what it is,
But it is
Gonna be great!

With a click, with a shock,
Phone'll jingle, door'll knock,
Open the latch!
Something's coming, don't know when, but it's soon;
Catch the moon,
One-handed catch!

Around the corner,
Or whistling down the river,
Come on, deliver
To me!
Will it be? Yes, it will.
Maybe just by holding still,
It'll be there!

Come on, something, come on in, don't be shy,
Meet a guy,
Pull up a chair!
The air is humming,
And something great is coming!
Who knows?
It's only just out of reach,
Down the block, on a beach,
Maybe tonight . . .

Have a good afternoon evening

Night!

Very sweet stuff - a bit too upbeat for me, though, I'm afraid. Thanks for the tip, though! ;D
