although i've always thought siouxsie was gorgeous i've never thought she was what you'ld call pretty but age has softened her face and she certainly mis now.

and i knew she'd be on the market again one day (and i'm easily as good a drummer as he is.

)

haven't had a chance to check tour dates but i'll be going to the nearest one...it's nineteen years since i saw the banshees.

Well, what can I say?
A Siouxsie sandwich really.
Opening with Isreal & Arabian nights was a big surprise, but a welcome one.
Although not the banshees, the band were really tight, as if they had been playing thise songs for years.
The new songs could have easily been off Tinderbox really & when Night Shift started up, all I could think of was JB & armpits

As for the encores, I was blown away with Hello I love You & Happy house, but to get a rendition of HK Garden & finish with Spellbound was more than I could have wished for.
Stumbling through the London night back to Leicester Sq station past celebrating south africans & disappointed English fans was irrelavant. I had just seen the queen & she was spot on!
Long live the queen.

the order of the songs wasn't the same the first night. Israel and Arabian Knights (maybe my favourite Siouxsie's song ever

) were the opening ones indeed. and made all the audience crazy. including myself

although I love the new ones as well I noticed that there was a big difference in the audience - when old Banshees oldies were played, there was a storm, during new songs people were more modest.
anyway, it was a great gig

and I liked the support band - Violets very much as well

PS the final encores were the slow version of Into A Swan and The Doors' cover - they were performed as one long song.

Well, I just finished watching Jools and I have to say, Siouxie came off cracking! Wish I had recorded that, but they'll rerun it later in the season, I guess. She finished off with a great version of 'Spellbound'. And I liked the new tracks as well. Nnnnnnice!
