What did you think of the birds at Warwick Castle? I found it a bit upsetting. Set them free for gods sake!SINsister wrote: I adore birdies - especially beautiful birds of prey.
Christophe - looks like a great homestead you got yourself. And welcome back.

I don't like the idea of captive birds of prey...but as long as they're being treated humanely, looked after well, etc. Eh...I dunno. I'm torn when it comes to these kinds of issues... I'm used to seeing trained falcons at the nearby Renaissance Faire every summer, so maybe it doesn't bother me as much as it might, otherwise. Then again, the birds at Warwick Castle are enormous, and some are obviously non-native to the UK, so that *is* more than a tad alarming.Hom_Corleone wrote:What did you think of the birds at Warwick Castle? Also good luck on the loan, you have to have a good-paid job to buy a house on yer own, I know the prices these days

No I'm afraid it isn't in Lier, I have been to a couple of places over there but couldn't quite find my thing.Izzy HaveMercy wrote:Nice going, C! Good luck with the renovations, you're gonna need it

this place will need a lot of work but its nearby (walking distance from where I live now) so I can spend most of my free time (for the next 2 years or so ) over there, trying to not blow anything up
and that loan.... you can expect a post in the CBPOB topic later this evening
