I have met some of the best people I have ever met via this place and my only regret is not finding you all years ago.
Big thanks to Barrington of Asia Towers and oor cool as feck Mods
what can I say but to quote Stannard 'Stan' Ridgway at the end of Wall of Voodoo's track Back in Flesh from the Urrgh! a Music War soundtrack:
"... showbusiness is...
... my life".
I've still to get a shag out of this place tho'

I'd help you out if I could, Mr. Blast, but I fear we may not be compatible.James Blast wrote:I've still to get a shag out of this place tho'
Thanks to everyone who has made me so welcome in the last 2 years, and to the Mods (especially the curry-munching beer-drinking Chicago-based ones ) who keep everything on an (almost) even keel.

OMG
Got absolutely battered last night, on my own little HL party.
Raised a glass (or several) to the Boss & the magnificent Mods
Anyone know where this kebab & this road cone came from....?

6 years eh? I've only been on for just over 4.
I did get pished and destroy as it happens, but only by accident. Went for a Ruby Murray on Thirsday night which (rather inevitably) degenerated into a pish-up. I think I got through more than a litre of red wine.
Anyhoo, happy birthday you crazy web-site.

Happy birthday HL.
Although I've only been here for (just shy of) 2 years, I've been made to feel very welcome.
As it happens, I've been through a very sh!tty time in my life (started just before I joined and has only recently ended) and I can honestly say that this little forum and it's warm hearted, crazy inhabitants, has helped me keep mind, body and soul together. Thank you, even though you had no idea what you were doing. Which makes it even more meaningful
I'm well and truly recovered now, hence the reason for actually showing my face.
<--------
But don't worry, I'll get back to a silly avatar again soon. I don't want to be putting the ladies off their food for too long.
And as for QB and Da Management...top job peeps.

I don't necessarily agree with everything I think.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
