this corrosion(INSTRUMENTAL ANDREW TRY TO RECOVER THE VOICE)

Pascal said me by sms : it was a mic problem, no ?
no, it wasn´t

BUT DON´T PANIC, THE GIG WAS GREAT. ALTOUGHT VON LOST(in my opinion he was bit ill.it can happen to somebody) A BIT HIS VOICE, IT WAS ONLY 2 SONGS THAT PLAYED WRONG(FLOOD 2 AND IN THIS CORROSION DIDN´T SING)

but in the other hand after this corrosion they played one of the best lucretia ever. and in this gig we had one of the best STILL ever etc..

ah i forgot to tell. no tour t-shirt. the merchandising was a sisters t-shirt black whit the old logo for man and for woman militant sex machine and the summer 06 tour(the easter countryes)

I WAS HAPPY WHIT THE GIG AND OF COURSE WAITING FORWARD TIENEN.

Back into bed now. Thanks for the news.

doesn't sound too bad. Nothing superb, but heard worse. What's the deal with Vons high 'hoo' before every line, these days? Sounds like a Suede-trick.

And of course, thank you dtsom!

We can maybe give him the benefit of the doubt with regard to his voice. Maybe he really was under the weather.

But the setlist - come on. It doesn't take much to rehearse a few different tunes and keep the faithful happy does it?

Same old same old same old.......

Great gig, given that the younger people were there for Shout Out Louds and the older for Peter, the reaction was good and everybody stayed with Von completely aphonic, simply because they rocked hard. I brought along a friend who hardly knew the band, and seemed to enjoy the show a lot, so I guess that's very positive. Btw, Lucretia was THAT good.
I've only seen them before in 06 Lisbon which was a bit of a dull show, but he looked way more sympathetic to the crowd, dancing a bit here and there, not to mention a 20m longer show than the previous billed only for them.

Peter was amazing as always, I didn't knew he was doing some bauhaus songs now, and placing a Burning from the Inside in the middle of such set takes some balls, given the way more pop expectations for such gig.

Now for heartlanders, for my shame I don't know any, and I was expecting to see some, but of course I wouldn't expect them all to be wearing the forum shirt. I saw a bunch near the merch stand which *could* be some of you, but I missed the chance for contact. Well, if anyone saw me, I was a short guy with glasses wearing a "my heartland shirt" and a olive drab jacket.

Just to save you all a job.....
Two years after the last pass by the Coliseum in Lisbon, the British The Sisters of Mercy returned to Portugal to once again remind the three studio albums, edited, the latter of which launched in 1983. The banda led by singer Andrew Eldritch has made sporadic tours during the past 20 years, but since then has never reached a new record an album.

The concert in memory Tides Vivas will be the worst reasons. Technical problems have affected both the sound of instruments - lacking power for the industrial rock practiced by the Sisters - as the voice of Eldritch turned in a whisper irritantemente imperceptible.

Embrulhados in a thick fog artificial, the Sisters of Mercy debitaram theme after theme so ineffective, grabbing only the fans acérrimos. What was a pity, because with better noise conditions, the reaction of the public would have been quite different, especially in 'Vision Thing', 'Dominion / Mother Russia "and" Temple of Love'.

thank you all for reviews and comments and all that!
his voice...hmmm...von take a few cups of tea rooibos with honey and get some rest now. also not being able to smoke and needing a ciggie on stage is something i'll have to get used to seeing.

oh well...my faith is in next weekend...i've seen enough gigs to know that he can still pull it off on stage and i suppose this band is just a love affair that will never die.

thank you peeps for posting and doing the devil's work....it is appreciated by us and also...

_emma_ ~ get well soon sweetie and see you next weekend!
