hello

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Hi Talia, you've definitely in the right place for old goffs. There's a bunch of them here altho they don't admit it very often ;)

Although it says Sisters on the front page, we're all actually into lot's of other music, whether it be very new and/or "covered in cobweb's"

I'm sure somebody mentioned The Cardiacs not too long ago too!

If you need help with adding an avatar (that's the picture you see to the left of my post) to your profile or you want to add pics, emoticon's or weblinks to your posts then Scotty's the man to ask :innocent: ;D

other than that, i expect my tastes are fairly universal for bods in here (though i do have a taste for hip-hop in my old age and, sorry, guilty pleasure is girls aloud -great to drive to!)

Now that's just cruel.

Oh yeah, you can survey the wreckage from the last big meet-up here: http://myheartland.co.uk/viewtopic.php? ... &start=475 :D

And we do have at least one other Norfolk resident (BoF) but she pops in and out of here rather than being a permanent resident.
If I told them once, I told them a hundred times to put 'Spinal Tap' first and 'Puppet Show' last.

Speaking of which, where the bloody hell is he! Still need his addy to send him stuff...

Oh, and you'll find Sisters are more like something that gets in the way of the forum every now and then rather than being the reason why we're here ;D

following it, just!
when i say hiphop, i mean things like lupe fiasco and bep and chamillionaire and that- rogue but it's different to me! (after nearly 30 years of goth, punk, alt etc, there's not a lot 'new' in that field!) and, tbh, "it it's got a good beat" - lol!

wow, that radio show was brilliant. the most music i've listened to in weeks - and only got unnecessary right at the end with tower of strength! that's a step in the right direction - will have to renew my acquaintance with the several hundred cds i've got stuck in load of boxes.
i've had a great night - and it's been such a surprise - thanks all
