I don't know what kinda vitamins Andrew has been taking but he looked in top shape - he was simply brilliant - clear sexy voice and omg Ben and Robochrist rocked the audience like Hell !!
I was there, on the right, second table and it was heavens on earth ! You can shoot me but I think this concert totally tops out the 2006 gig (and I was there too in front row drooling on Andy)
Omg the sound - the lights - the smoke were all totally brilliant and it's fascinating how with the amount of smoke we still could clearly see their faces and bodies
I'm gonna write a more extensive review on my livejournal but this was totally orgasmic !

He's evil fine; his voice has a good shape. Better than the mumbling crackhead he was now and then in the past.

Nice videos! Didn't expect to see stuff so quickly.
Is it just me or is Von much more animated this time around, compared to 2006? Looks like a good show - I was kind of hoping the set list would change a bit more (I think this line up would do great with stuff like Floorshow, Body Electric, Logic - was hoping to hear Lights or Kiss the Carpet too but ah well - or maybe a Sister Ray/Ghostrider medley?
) it's almost exactly what I saw last time but hey, they're actually playing here in the US so I can't complain. Can't wait - little over two weeks to go for me!

Much fun was had by all. Nice seeing Eva and Eggi and all.
Friends and I were sat behind the desk and chatted with the "new" sound guy. Turns out its Dave (ex-nurse). He's still ravey.
Sound was very good from were we were. Though there was a liberal dose of feedback. Andrew got a little grumpy about that at one point.
I'm not sure why they cut RD and FloodII, Dave didn't know either.
As I say, there were a couple of sound issues, but nothing compared to other shows I've seen.
Either way I loved the show. Still no tour shirt though. Kenny says he may come up with one at some point, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
In the mean time I finally got a hoodie, so that's ok.
Thanks to everyone I chatted with, hope you enjoy the rest of the tour.
Some one point me to a recording when its ready.
Cheers,
Tony (Beck)

Sounds like the machine is in full swing... and
looks very healthy!
It's funny how we talk of him as if he is our ol' Granddad!
I'm happy everyone is having fun! Thanks for the videos people and keep
on rocking!

This is the second time I see Sisters in Montreal. The first time I filmed a little bit:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iPN0FLeHZNE
For this 2008/2009 tour, I filmed in HD 1080i so 3 greater videos are coming soon…
Questions :
1) Does this tour have a name? Last time it was "Sisters Bites the Silver Bullet"
2) What was the white album that I couldn't buy at the merchandising stand? I read something like "Sisters of Mercy with Catalyst".
3) When does somebody add the "29 October 2008, Montréal - Post Show" thread?

The White Album (there's a catchy title) was Do or Die, new Eureka Machines Album.
It's quite good.

Looking forward to them.

Nope. No name, no shirt. Kenny said it was secretly ironic, but I think he was lying...
2) What was the white album that I couldn't buy at the merchandising stand? I read something like "Sisters of Mercy with Catalyst".
Chris Catalyst's other band, the Eureka Machines. Why couldn't you buy it?
3) When does somebody add the "29 October 2008, Montréal - Post Show" thread?
Go for it.
Hope you liked the show!
Cheers,

When he was young, he was already old.

Yeah, seems like they were much more liberal in Montreal than Toronto regarding cameras and recording. And there was no fence in front of the stage.

More like in Club Soda !! I was in the Metropolis in 2006 and the front row had bulldog looking security dudes, in July 2007 I was at the Tool concert at the Bell Center and they simply took away all that looked like a camera !!
The Club Soda Is the nice and social going club
the security guard was standing on something to see the crowd from above, saw the 3 cams (and their bright lcd screen) and didn't do s**t about it to stop the ppl. Was ace !
