As I said before the gear is not the problem, I would suggest for the beginning:

Chrch Audio CA 11 : http://cgi.ebay.de/STEREO-CONDENSER-MIC ... ZViewItem]

Batt.Box: http://cgi.ebay.de/MICROPHONE-BATTERY-B ... m153.l1262

and a used Hi-MD Recorder with a Line In Jack. You will find these for reasonable prices also in the bay... for example the MZ-NH700.

BTW, unfortunately good and cheap does not fit together .... :von:

I have an ECM719 Mic FS - like new condition because never used

MrGreen taped his Brussel 2006 recording with an ECM719.

@cyberbio:

I was thinking about buying me the SP-CMC-8, too - do you remember how much duty was charged by the zoll? I already tried to google theat out but there are some different statements about that issue.

Some friends told me the mics are excellent, and I think 3 hours of music in PCM recording mode is enough to record a concert, i think i am going to buy it. Moreover it is so small that there is no difficulty to hide it.

seems ok on the papers - frequencies 40 - 20k, manuell adjustjment of the levels & a Line In for ext. mics.... so we need to hear a test concert :-)

I've 3 recordings with that gear and the quality it's not so bad... but i prefer an external mic for a better quality. i've some doubts for the loud music like sisters...
