no joke. it's blimmin' marvellous. now, knowing that you're stuck on the wrong side of the pond, i'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this sinny. especially since, in my (admittedly limited) experience, you guys don't have a clue when it comes to
proper chocolate.

16 degrees C is a cold daytime temp, the coldest it ever gets (once every few years) is 12 degrees. Bloody freezing!!
Night time temps drop below freezing a couple of time a year.
I live in the wettest part of the country, so there's always lots of rain in winter though.

The average daytime maximum temperature was 12.7C (55F), beating the previous best in 1974 by half a degree.
April 16 was the hottest April day on record when Met Office thermometers topped the 20C (68F) mark, beating the previous record by 1C.
The month was also a lot sunnier than normal with 196 hours — 26 more than average.
On the best days, the 17th and 19th, there were 12.6 hours of sunshine.
Rainfall was below average, with a total of 47mm of rain, compared with an average of 55mm.
Most of the rain fell in the last week with just 12 measurable days throughout the month.
Wind speed was normal and the highest gust recorded was 50 knots on the April 11.
There were no full gales.
There were five days with ground frost, five with fog and one with hail.
The Isle of Man was the sunniest place in Britain on Tuesday with 10.6 hours.
