In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. There I was, working my way through the New Year posts...and suddenly I hear pipes. Thought I, 'Damn, they're playing that loud' - then, 'Naw, that's live'. Threw on the jacket (understand, I was only just maybe a half hour out of bed), grabbed the door key and went running...ended up chasing a first-footing party. Beer for breakfast! Damn, it was just like old times... :D
