For the past year or so, I've become a much bigger fan of Placebo than of TSOM.
At least we're getting a new Placebo album this year.
I get less keen on Placebo as the years pass- its been decreasing returns since Black Market Music though they rtemain great live.
Regarding NIN I must state that I adore Fixed and Pretty Hate Machine but was left bored by Year Zero. Can't remember much about Downward Spiral though I have it. Should I dig it out?

artificially stimulated, with a lot of bluster and 'show', but a real lack of any genuine passion to the performance?

You are all diseased and talking about some or other Sisters gig, FACT!
Last time Trent passed the Ancienne Belgique here was fecking awesome, such power, such energy... bloody nice lighting, sublime sound, talking with the audience...
Unlike other bands.

Nobody prefer the Swans? Loudest band in the World or acoustic versions? Burning world anyone? Saved, the song Mr Cash should've covered. White light from the Mouth of Infinity? No? On a serious point maybe the route Michael Gira took would've been the way for
to go. Young God records seem to be doing alright. And the Angels of Light are damn fine act. After all a name is just a name. Essentially we're waiting on something from Mr E, whether its under the Sisters banner or not. Would be a shame to kill the name though. Maybe the Sisters something else...

oh dear, what a shame, how sad.
minnistry wiped the floor with them IMO. with equally boring drug habits. and it's not really on to even mention them in the same
breath as the sisters; even if they are dead and gone.
death to false metal.

I've been thinking for some time now it's time to make NIN disappear for a while.
Permanent would be preferable personally.

Janes didn't implode on Lolla, it was they're farwell tour. Perry said he was breaking up the band because he didn't like how popular they become and the people listening to them.
