Commodore 64 was for those who read the specs.... but didn't look at the software

BBC B was for those who's mummy's bought them an educational christmas present

Amstrad was for clueless bastards who liked football.

Acorn was for.... f**ked if I know, never could figure it out.

Spectrum was for those with taste, good sense, and a sense of creativeness. And we grew up and learnt how to handle our beer, appreciate our music, and treat and women well.

80s Spectrum owners are the guys you want be now.

The rest of you drink Miller Lite, stay straight in Amsterdam and secretly listen to Radio 1 on the ride home.

We had a BBC Micro network at school. I remember them buying a 10MB Winchester hard drive, it was about the size of a small car. Now I can get 8GB on a flash card the size of a fingernail!

It were all 8-bit processors in my day lad. Fetch my pipe and slippers would you?

Have a look at the forums and find a link for Lurkers Mod for them. Really well done textures so they actually look like the ships rather than flying grey blocks.
