i think he's probably referring to the english stag and hen parties that have invaded prague and are turning the centre into an eastern european version of the reeperbahn, or even worse - trurning into a version of newcastle's 'bigg market'

in the case of prague this might refer to those many people from the anglo-american area who came there to work - prague serves as base for many of big companies for all eastern european countries, there are many of them, but our local friends can tell us more. in fact many companies were moving their eastern european headquaters from vienna to either prague or budapest in the past few years.

I get the impression that Von prefers to keep quiet about this, that he doesn't really have any interaction with his family (and hasn't had since the late 70s or thereabouts), and that this line of questioning would be one surefire way to guarantee an early end to the interview.

actually i was wondering about one of the lines in FALAA - about "almost 25 years" and whether that was a reference to his parents (would he have almost been 25 then?) or and upringing?

It's just his age - in some later 85 gigs he changed the line to "26 years".
